most likely you will keep all of your asorted tool in your armor, remember they can shift out of sight with the armor, that way you can have what ever you need to hand at the moment you need it.

on the top deck is a senior officer lounge that doubles as a conference room.

and btw the station is actually pretty young not rusting at all its maybe 20-25 years old its well used but still ingreat shape, the hanger just hasn't been cleaned in awhile.
and its not a secret meeting just one that wasn't advertiesed. its not top secret just quiet.

remember several million soldiers were scouted for it, hard to keep that secret.

Alright guys, had some time to mooch off Ex's 'net til I get new stuff at the new apartment. SO, finally, here's the character bio.

Name: Taji Petrova
Race: Shifter
Age: 24
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 140 lbs
Hair: Crimson, long, keeps it pulled back in a bun or a ponytail
Complexion: tan: Shifter skin is naturally a darker complexion, like that of one of middle eastern descent, and their skin is... clay-like, for lack of a better word.
Build: Taji is slim and lanky. There is not an ounce of womanly grace about her, and she moves always with purpose... unless a game of cards or a drink is involved, haha

Personality: Taji is a ... volatile personality to say the least. Upon first meeting, she can seem cold and distant, but as she warms up to a person or persons, she can definitely develop bonds with her "battle buddies". However, she would never actually admit that. Also, she has a bit of a temper about her, and a look at her record will reveal that it has gotten her into trouble in the past. Given this record, and her cold demeanor, the only thing saving her, it would seem, is a certain amount of workaholism and a determined advanced proficiency in her field, hence her seemingly miraculous rise through the ranks to her current rank. In this respect, Taji has managed to leave the reputation of her people somewhat behind her- the Shifters are not exactly trusted, given the fact that many, due to their abilities, take up positions as mercs, spies, and assassins.

Weapons and Armor:

Taji is an excellent shot with most weapons, and makes it a point to make a handgun available to her person at all times. However, her real love and talent lies with rifles and she always carries at least two. Her armor is made to be more flexible than that of the others due to her... unique abilities. It has the ability to memorize her various forms, and in the event that she shifts to another, it can memorize it for future use. Also, due to the fact that her shifting is skin deep, it can move with her form as her skin shifts.

Nice job, girl.

But I think I'm going to make my character a close book. She pretty much quite, and good with her hands.

not my best character bio, but I always end up fleshing the character out as the story develops. I prefer not to have such a strict character already made, to allow for flexibility.

Um? Drakel not sure if you realize but xenobiology= study of extraterrestrial creatures

Given that this is a rp about space travel this effectively makes him our expert on alien cultures/technologies, Translator, and possibly even our doctor

The xeno is the prefix for "stranger" this is generally a term for different species and in scifi this is a term used to denote aliens

Raptor the hangar is empty aka no ship is present please don't put a ship there quite yet
Don't worry about it just edit it and take out mention of the ship and everyone else should just ignore that paragraph so no worries

BTW, an edit/note on Taji's history.

Taji grew up in the ghetto slums of a floating colony. Her parents were... less than there as a result of overwork, etc, and she grew up in the very volatile environment surrounding her. As so often happens with children in such conditions, she fell in with a bad crowd, eventually landing a position in the organized crime ring that ran the ghetto and indeed, much of the city. Due to her innate talent and rough-and-tumble personality and demeanor, she quickly rose through the ranks until she was a deadly jack-of-all-trades Enforcer, specializing in everything from hits to simple rough-ups to bodyguarding the higher ups and bosses. As she puts it, she saw and did things that should never have happened. One incident in particular changed her mind, and she left the syndicate, and indeed her home galaxy entirely, escaping into the ranks of the military. Because she expressed remorse and a devotion to the cause of civilized life, she was allowed to join, and given judicial immunity with the promise that the matter would remain her business. Only her commanding officers know anything about her questionable past.

Now, all that is left of her former life is a series of questions and nightmares.

What's a field medic?

I want to make sure I understand this carefully.

Also Naomi isn't immortal, just her age is her business. And you'll find more about her later. Like I said she's a close book and kepts to herself.

when were not on the ship doing battle on foot its your job to bandage us and do some quick healing in the field when were away from the ship, on the ship we have a doctor but off the ship we have to rely on you to fix us up so we can go on or make it back to the ship.

so you wont really be doing much fighting just trying to keep cover and stay alive and bandage us up, splint a broken bone or bull shrapnel out. not your just to make us 100%better but to get us well enough we can get real healing.

So my character is a nurse?

She's got a brain as smart as a super computer especially when it comes to technology and she's a nurse?

you said she liked working with her hands, i thought youd rather be the medic the a fighter, if i'm wrong we can always ask around and see if anyone else would like to be a medic.
